Bedroom Makeover!

Mom and Dad’s room has definitely been the neglected space in their new house after moving in this past June. We couldn’t stand the thought of them having to spend so much time in their sterile and boring room after coming home to recover from surgery and through the next several months of treatments. So, us kids decided to surprise them by redecorating (or perhaps just decorating!) their room while they were still in the hospital. We had a lot of fun planning and carrying it out, but the best part by far was how excited and shocked they were to see it when they finally came home. Definitely worth it!

We still have a few little finishing touches we weren’t able to add yet before she got home, but all in all, we were pretty excited with how it turned out.

    You guys did a fantastic job with that room and even more by supporting your dear Michele and Craig! This news breaks my heart as I have grown to love them in the last year and a half. What great people they are...they touch and change lives everywhere the live.
    I can imagine how you all have felt in the last couple of weeks...what a roller coaster!

    Thanks so much for the room decor ideas! Also thanks for the blog. We had no idea, because we've been so negligent in keeping in touch!

    Hope by saying "WE LOVE YOU!!!" we can convey the true level of love and respect we have for the Garvins. We were prompted to put your names in the Mesa Temple last Friday and Saturday. We were on a special overnight Temple Trip sponsored by the Iron Springs High Priest Group.

    We love blogs. Sue's brother and sis-in-law used one during their Manila Mission. They updated it weekly. We really missed it after the Mission was complete.

    Our new phone number is (435) 720-2351. Sue would more than love to hear from Michele. Meanwhile, know we love you.

    Wow. What a beautiful space to come home to relax and heal in. We are cheering for a fast and full recovery for both Michelle and Craig.
